A few weeks ago when Matt and Jason (another house church member/friend) came out to mow my yard--for the second time!--I found a carton of eggs left on my front doorstep. They were from Jason's wife, Sarah, a good friend of mine. It wasn't till probably a few days later when I went to use some of them that I found this...


...which I thought was so cute that it simply had to have a photo taken. I mean, if I have to crack those shells and throw them away, I at least want a photo reminder!
Other than photographing a pile of empty containers stacked on my kitchen bench, I don't have much photo proof of the myriads of other things that the house church women particularly have blessed me with. However, they have been many...
The month 'anniversary' of Steve's death saw one of them (unknowingly) bringing out two meals and a dessert which touched me beyond measure. Another night, the same person messaged me to see if I had dinner planned for that night and offered to bring out some soup and scones she had just made. I suggested she bring her family with her and we eat it together, which they did, and it was so lovely. Others have stayed and cooked or visited and brought lunch. The list is endless and I am beyond grateful.
